Conversations worth keeping
Pull up a chair. The kettle's on.
Tea with Emily is a warm, unhurried conversation series hosted by Emily Mankin — retired geography teacher, lifelong curious person, and lover of a good story.
Each episode, Emily sits down with someone whose life, memories, and experiences deserve to be remembered. Longtime locals. Elders. People who watched the world change and have something to say about it.
No studio. No scripts. Just tea, two people, and a conversation worth having.

Every episode follows the same gentle rhythm. Emily shows up with a kettle and two mugs. Her guest shows up with a lifetime of memories. The rest takes care of itself.
Emily pouring tea. No words. Just the warmth of a kitchen and the sound of a kettle. Lets the viewer settle in.
Emily introduces her guest — name, where they're from, and one line on why she wanted to sit with them.
Emily asks. Her guest talks. It starts with place — "Where did you grow up? Describe it for me." — and drifts naturally into memory, history, and the people they loved.
Every guest is asked the same final question: "What do you hope people remember about this place?" A signature moment.
Emily is always looking for her next conversation. If you know someone — a neighbor, a family elder, a longtime local — whose story should be preserved, she'd love to hear from you.
